Ticotyle 400 Injection contains Teicoplanin (400mg), a glycopeptide antibiotic used primarily in the treatment of serious Gram-positive bacterial infections. It helps in treating infections caused by resistant organisms such as Staphylococcus aureus (including MRSA) and Enterococcus species. Ticotyle 400 is especially useful in managing infections where other antibiotics might fail, such as complicated skin infections, bone and joint infections, pneumonia, and septicemia.
May cause rash, nausea, fever, dizziness, pain at the injection site, and mild kidney dysfunction. Rarely, it can lead to allergic reactions or hearing impairment.
Used for the treatment of severe Gram-positive bacterial infections, including MRSA, endocarditis, septicemia, bone and joint infections, skin infections, and respiratory tract infections.
