Roxyfoli 150 Tablet contains Roxithromycin IP 150mg, a semi-synthetic macrolide antibiotic used to treat a variety of bacterial infections. It works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, thereby stopping bacterial growth. Roxithromycin is especially effective against gram-positive bacteria and some gram-negative organisms, and it offers a better gastrointestinal tolerance and longer duration of action compared to older macrolides like erythromycin.
