Cefuzrom CV Dry Syrup is a powerful antibiotic combination of Cefuroxime, a second-generation cephalosporin, and Clavulanic Acid, a beta-lactamase inhibitor. This formulation is designed to treat a variety of bacterial infections by enhancing the effectiveness of Cefuroxime against beta-lactamase-producing organisms, which would otherwise be resistant to antibiotics. Cefuroxime works by interfering with the synthesis of bacterial cell walls, leading to bacterial death, while Clavulanic Acid protects the antibiotic from degradation by bacterial enzymes.

This combination is particularly useful for treating respiratory infections, urinary tract infections (UTIs), skin and soft tissue infections, and infections of the upper respiratory tract, such as otitis media and sinusitis. Cefuzrom CV is also prescribed for community-acquired pneumonia, bronchitis, and infections caused by susceptible strains of E. coli, Streptococcus pneumoniae, and other common bacterial pathogens.
