Mefenamic Acid 100 DT Tablet is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) formulated as a dispersible tablet, primarily used in pediatric care. It offers effective relief from mild to moderate pain, inflammation, and fever. Mefenamic acid works by inhibiting the production of prostaglandins, which are responsible for pain and inflammation, making it suitable for conditions like toothache, headaches, musculoskeletal pain, and fever in children. Mefenamic Acid is usually well-tolerated in the prescribed dose and duration. However, some children may experience gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, or diarrhea.
