This syrup is a combination of Sucralfate (1000 mg) and Oxetacaine (20 mg), formulated to provide effective relief from gastric ulcers, acid reflux, and esophagitis. Sucralfate acts by forming a protective barrier over ulcers and damaged mucosa, promoting healing and shielding the stomach lining from acid and enzymes. Oxetacaine is a local anesthetic that offers fast-acting and long-lasting pain relief from burning sensation and discomfort associated with hyperacidity and gastritis. Together, they provide dual-action relief by protecting the gastrointestinal mucosa and soothing irritation.
The syrup is generally well tolerated. In some cases, mild side effects such as constipation, dry mouth, nausea, or taste alteration may occur. Rarely, allergic reactions may happen. Patients with kidney disorders should use it cautiously due to aluminum content in sucralfate.
Indicated for the treatment of gastric ulcers, duodenal ulcers, esophagitis, gastritis, GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease), and acid-related dyspepsia. Also beneficial in relieving heartburn and epigastric pain due to hyperacidity.
Take this syrup on an empty stomach for best results, usually before meals and at bedtime or as directed by a healthcare professional. Avoid taking any other medication within 2 hours of this syrup to prevent interaction. Not recommended for long-term use without medical advice. Use cautiously in patients with renal impairment or those on a low-phosphorus diet.
Store in a cool and dry place, below 25°C, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep the bottle tightly closed and out of reach of children. Shake well before use.
