Clickstin 4.5MIU Injection contains Colistimethate Sodium (4.5 Million IU), a potent antibiotic used for treating serious infections caused by multidrug-resistant Gram-negative bacteria. Colistimethate Sodium works by disrupting the bacterial cell membrane, causing bacterial death. It is typically reserved for severe, hospital-acquired infections where other antibiotics are ineffective.

It helps in the treatment of life-threatening infections such as ventilator-associated pneumonia, bloodstream infections, complicated urinary tract infections, and infections caused by multidrug-resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Acinetobacter, and Klebsiella species. It is particularly useful in critically ill patients or in cases where other treatments have failed.
