Cilostazol 20mg Tablet is an antiplatelet and vasodilator medication primarily used to improve blood flow in patients with intermittent claudication—a condition caused by narrowing of blood vessels in the legs. By inhibiting phosphodiesterase III, Cilostazol increases cyclic AMP levels in platelets and vascular smooth muscle, leading to reduced platelet aggregation and vasodilation. This dual action enhances walking distance and reduces pain and cramping in the legs during physical activity. It is also used in some cases for secondary stroke prevention or other vascular disorders under medical supervision.

About the Product

Cilostazol may cause headache, diarrhea, palpitations, dizziness, and peripheral edema. In rare cases, it may lead to more serious cardiovascular effects. It is not recommended for patients with heart failure due to increased risk of mortality in this population.
