This syrup is a combination of an antihistamine and a cough suppressant. Chlorpheniramine maleate helps relieve symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, and watery eyes caused by allergies or the common cold. Dextromethorphan acts on the cough center in the brain to suppress dry, irritating, and non-productive cough. The formulation offers effective symptomatic relief from cold and upper respiratory tract infections.
Generally well tolerated. Some users may experience drowsiness, dizziness, dry mouth, nausea, or upset stomach. Avoid alcohol and operating heavy machinery during use due to possible sedation.
Indicated for the relief of dry, irritating cough associated with allergic rhinitis, common cold, sinusitis, or upper respiratory tract infections. It also helps in reducing symptoms like sneezing, runny nose, and watery eyes.
Use only as directed by a healthcare provider. Not recommended for children under a certain age unless prescribed. Avoid combining with other central nervous system depressants. Do not exceed the prescribed dose.
