Fritcet S 375 Injection combines Ceftriaxone, a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic, with Sulbactam, a beta-lactamase inhibitor. This dual action ensures potent antibacterial activity by not only inhibiting the synthesis of the bacterial cell wall but also preventing beta-lactamase enzymes from neutralizing the antibiotic. This makes the combination effective against a broad spectrum of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, including those resistant to other antibiotics.
Fritcet S 375 Injection is widely used to treat moderate to severe infections caused by susceptible microorganisms. These include respiratory infections, urinary tract infections, soft tissue infections, bacterial meningitis, sepsis, and intra-abdominal infections. It is particularly valuable in the treatment of infections caused by beta-lactamase-producing bacteria, which are often resistant to other antibiotics.
May include nausea, vomiting, rash, diarrhea, and local injection site reactions. Serious effects may involve allergic reactions or liver/kidney dysfunction.
For the treatment of moderate to severe bacterial infections, including respiratory, urinary tract, skin, and intra-abdominal infections.
