Acenomore 2 Tablet contains Acenocoumarol, an anticoagulant (blood thinner) that helps prevent harmful blood clots. It works by lowering clotting factors in the blood, making it less likely for clots to form inside blood vessels. Doctors prescribe it to reduce the risk of stroke, heart attack, deep vein thrombosis (DVT), and pulmonary embolism (PE). It is often used in patients with mechanical heart valves, atrial fibrillation, or those who have a history of clotting disorders.
The most important side effect is bleeding, which can present as nosebleeds, bleeding gums, unusual bruises, or blood in urine/stool. Other mild effects include nausea, headache, dizziness, or fatigue. Seek immediate medical help for any unusual or severe bleeding.
