Povidyle Gargle contains Povidone Iodine (2% w/v), a broad-spectrum antiseptic solution widely used for oral and throat infections. It helps in the elimination of bacteria, viruses, and fungi, making it an effective solution for maintaining oral hygiene and reducing infections.
Povidone Iodine works by releasing iodine, which destroys harmful microorganisms and prevents their growth. It is commonly used to relieve sore throat, gum infections, mouth ulcers, and post-surgical oral care. The antiseptic properties make it ideal for preventing secondary infections and accelerating the healing process in the oral cavity.
May cause mild irritation, staining of teeth, altered taste sensation, or allergic reactions in some individuals.
